That being here, alive, it's a gift.[Cat] But when things get tough, how do you keep that fire burning?[Mary] Hard things are just that, hard. But they're also what make life exciting. Regardless of the outcome, it's about enjoying the journey, not just the destination.[Lambert] I once heard about three bricklayers. Each saw their work differently: just laying bricks, building buildings, or creating cathedrals. It's all about perspective.[Mary] Exactly! It's finding meaning in what we do, aiming to be world-class, even in the face of adversity.[Cat] And when the going gets tough?[Mary] That's when we need to find peace within ourselves. And remember, there's always someone out there to lean on.[Lambert] So, it's our journey that defines us, not just the goal?[Mary] Exactly. It's up to each of us to find our cathedral, no matter the path we're on. Don’t ever give up!What keeps you motivated? You have to find it for yourself. Here is mine. I focus on life being a miracle. I feel lucky being alive. Hard things are hard. But hard things are fun. Enjoy the journey. It’s the journey that keeps me motivated. When three brick layers were asked, what do you do? One said, I’m a brick layer, the second, I build buildings and the third said, I build cathedrals. The answer lies within you. Don’t compromise, be worldclass. If the going gets tough, find the ability to give peace to yourself. Find someone that you can rely on. That was mine, but everyone has to find our own way on how we stay motivated.
